The Residences at Market Square is a $7 million mixed-used project comprising of 24 condominium units and 8,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. The condominiums range in size from 1,200 to 1,600 square feet and total 33,000 square feet. The project sits adjacent to a newly construction 675-car parking garage, which has a separate private entrance solely for the condominiums.
Significance
The Residences at Market Square sits adjacent to an $8 million renovation of Historic Market Square in Downtown Knoxville and is the first residential project of this scale in downtown Knoxville in over 20 years. The area is surrounded by numerous restaurants and entertainment options, including a brand new eight-screen Regal movie theater that opened in the Summer of 2007.
